Blue Horizon glass vase by Jonathan Harris Studio

This glass vase in the very popular  'Blue Horizon' range was made by the well-known Jonathan Harris Studio located at the Coalport China Museum in the Ironbridge Gorge, World Heritage Site. We note that that he is the son of the also famous Michael Harris and brother to the equally very talented Timothy Harris. We have loved this family's work for more than 30 years and are happy that we managed to acquire a vase made by a member of the Harris family for the gallery.

This gorgeous vase is in perfect condition & shows no signs of chips, grazes or breaks etc & is signed 2005.  It stands approximately  23cm tall and we have added an extra image showing some of the etching on the bottom. The inspiration for the Blue Horizon vase was the gorgeous rural Shropshire landscape surrounding the Jonathan Harris Studio.

This vase will look good with or without flowers in the family and career sections of your house given the beautiful shades of blue, green and purple.

Oh my, this amazing Koruyan Vase is a handmade limited edition (nr. 275 of 1,000 according to its certificate) in cream and black and was made by Pasabahce Magazalari of Turkey. It would go perfectly in the Good Friends area of your house as it is decorated with the protector winged god Assumasirpal II whose hand is raised as if in prayer. The headband and bracelet carry the motif of the life flower. The original relief is housed in the Hermitage in St. Petersburg. It is believed that it originally graced the wall in a bedroom in the royal palace in Kalha of the Assyrian Kingdom as a protector against evil spirits.

It stands 35.6cm high. We should mention that this vase has been aged with dye and the certificate says to avoid direct contact with moisture and to only use a dry cloth for cleaning. As such it is eminently suitable for some silk flowers. This vase is so fancy that it comes in its own padded wooden box! It will be a chore to wrest it from Mr. B’s hands when it is sold as he is totally in love with it.

This cheerful little Maxence Parot single opaline bottle with bubble cap is just too cute and would be lovely little accent in the wisdom area of your house. It stands about 13 cm high and is a gorgeous warm blue colour with orange and yellow dots and was made in 2020. It is signed and dated on the bottom.
